Bogor, December 11, 2023 - Bogor Regent, Iwan Setiawan, inaugurated the Citeureup Sector Fire Station building on December 11, 2023, at 10:00 WIB, in the Sentul Industrial Area. This Fire Station is a grant from PT Bogorindo Cemerlang, one of the experienced property developers and management in the industrial area business, to the Bogor Regency Fire Department. The inauguration ceremony was carried out symbolically by cutting the tumpeng and signing the inscription by Bogor Regent Iwan Setiawan. In the event, Bogor Regent Iwan Setiawan was accompanied by the Head of the Bogor Regency Fire Department Arman Jaya, Bogor Regency Regional Secretary H. Burhanudin, and a number of other Bogor Regency regional officials. The inauguration ceremony was also attended by the President Director of PT Bogorindo Cemerlang, Au Bintoro, who was accompanied by Irma Tjandra as General Manager, Esther Kurniawan as Finance Director, Yohanes Sumarno as Head of Operational, and other directors.
This grant is a Corporate Social Responsibility program of PT Bogorindo Cemerlang together with the Fire Department, to support the Bogor Regency government in providing the best service to the community. The Board of Directors of PT Bogorindo Cemerlang sees that the area around the Sentul Industrial Estate is a densely populated area, but on the other hand it is also home to labor-intensive industries. The high risk of fires and disasters that occur in Bogor Regency is a concern for the Board of Directors of PT Bogorindo Cemerlang. For this reason, disaster mitigation facilities are a primary need that must be owned by Leuwinutug village. The strategic location and easy access to public roads convinced Au Bintoro that the Sentul Industrial Estate could provide a place for strategic fire and disaster mitigation services. This enthusiasm was warmly welcomed by the Bogor Regency Fire Department.
On this occasion, Bogor Regent Iwan Setiawan said that with the wide coverage area of Bogor Regency, prevention and handling of fire disasters needed to be comprehensive, proactive and integrated. Iwan added that data from the Bogor Regency Fire Department until October 2023 recorded 598 fire incidents in Bogor Regency. "Regional capacity in budgeting and spending is very limited, so it needs support from all stakeholders including business and industry elements," said the Regent of Bogor. Iwan Setiawan hopes that PT Bogorindo Cemerlang's steps will be followed by other industrial companies. The Director of PT Bogorindo Cemerlang, Au Bintoro, hopes that with the construction of the Citeureup Sector Fire Station, it can help the Fire Department provide better services to the people of Bogor Regency. Au Bintoro also hopes to contribute more to the development of Bogor Regency through this Social and Environmental Responsibility Program.
The Citeureup Sector Fire Station was built on 743 m2 of land with a building area of 288 m2. The construction of the fire station, which was completed in 6 months, has two floors. On the first floor there are two VIP rooms for the sector commander and the head of the department. On the east side there is a monitoring room or guard post, a multipurpose room, a warehouse, a prayer room, 4 toilets, and a large parking area. While on the second floor there is a meeting room, pantry, 3 toilets, and a rapping area.
